The Cleveland Browns have officially terminated running back Nyheim Hines' contract following two seasons of injury struggles. Hines was unable to play after suffering an ACL tear in a jet ski accident in July 2023. Initially signed to a one-year deal, he started the season on the non-football injury list. Although he was cleared to practice mid-October, the Browns did not activate him to the main roster. As he was in the last year of his contract, this led to the deal rolling over to 2025, but ultimately, the team opted for his release.
