Avontae Williams, a former University of Miami football player, has been charged with second-degree murder following a shooting incident at McCabe's Bar in DeLand, Florida. The shooting occurred after a fistfight broke out inside the bar, resulting in the death of 32-year-old Keshod Harris. Another individual, a bartender, was also injured but not seriously. Williams, 24, has a troubled history, including previous arrests during his time at Miami, leading to his eventual transfer to Maryland for completion of his college career.
