GSC Game World has promised to bring the game up to snuff with future updates and expansions. Update 1.1 will rectify over 1,800 issues, including the first major fix for "A-Life 2.0," the game's advanced AI technology.
A-Life 2.0 was supposed to be one of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's biggest improvements, allowing NPCs to live independently and make the world feel more immersive. However, implementing it proved difficult without breaking other game elements.
With an extra month of work, GSC Game World has begun re-implementing those systems. Issues like enemies spawning behind players will be resolved, enhancing player experience significantly.
Players will encounter roaming NPCs more frequently, and their actions will be tracked at greater distances. These AI pathing overhauls will enrich gameplay by creating more natural interactions in the game world.
