A new exhibit about the Titanic encourages visitors to interact with real artifacts
Briefly

"Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition" opens on February 15 at the Liberty Science Center and runs through September. The exhibit presents over 130 authentic artifacts from the Titanic, including jewelry and personal items belonging to passengers. A highlight is a 7-foot iceberg replica that allows visitors to experience the cold temperatures felt on the sinking night. The exhibition also highlights the science behind the Titanic's sinking and conservation efforts at the wreck site. Guests will be given replica boarding passes, providing a simulated experience of being a passenger on the ill-fated journey.
"A seminal moment in world history, people continue to be amazed more than a century later by the story of the ill-fated journey to New York City."
"Visitors can take in the majestic nature of the ship, learn the science behind why it sank, and discover exactly how the artifacts have been recovered and preserved for all this time."
