Airports Are Adding Therapy Animals From Dogs to Llamas
Briefly

Travelers at Portland International Airport are experiencing a less stressful atmosphere thanks to the introduction of therapy animals, specifically a llama and an alpaca.
The therapy animals that come in is just one way we kind of deliver on that for the traveler experience," said Port of Portland spokesperson Allison Ferre.
Beri and Captain Jack, the airport's new animal staffers, have quickly become beloved fixtures, helping reduce stress levels among anxious travelers.
Airports are increasingly welcoming therapy animals as a part of their mission to create a more inviting environment for passengers.
