On February 1, the Centrale and Whitgift centres will celebrate the Lunar New Year in Whitgift Square, featuring live performances, workshops, and festive activities. The event includes traditional music and dance by the Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine, free martial arts workshops for all skill levels, and mask-making workshops. A giant 50ft golden dragon will also be part of the festivities. Open to everyone with no reservations required, attendees can simply show up to partake in the vibrant atmosphere from noon to 5 PM.
