After a tough battle with injury and infection, Flop the penguin has overcome significant health challenges, thanks to a bespoke baby bouncer and remarkable care.
The Dudley Zoo staff ingeniously created a baby bouncer to help Flop regain her strength for feeding, as she struggled with her balance due to her limp.
Incorporating advice from other zoos, as well as the expertise of a physiotherapist, has resulted in Flop regaining the ability to stand independently once again.
