Calif. man filmed on 'To Catch a Predator' back in police custody
Briefly

Robert Rudy Salinas, a 63-year-old man previously featured on "To Catch a Predator," is back in custody after alleged incidents on New Year's Day involving a child. He faces multiple felony charges for lewd acts and contacting a minor with criminal intent. Salinas was initially caught in 2007 by Chris Hansen's team while attempting to meet a young girl, accepting responsibility at that time. After receiving probation, he remains on the sex offender registry and is scheduled for a court hearing next month regarding his new charges.
His overtures quickly became sexual, Hansen said. The fake profile said she would be in Long Beach to visit a family member, which is where Hansen's crew surprised Salinas on-camera.
Salinas didn't deny that he was there to meet up with a young girl. 'I deserve what you do to me,' he said at the time.
