Costs of goods will rise as Holyhead disruption continues, hauliers warn
Briefly

"We had a very engaging meeting this morning with Minister for Transport James Lawless. He certainly gets the urgency and he gets the need for extra ferries coming out of the UK and going into the UK," Mr Hyland told the Irish Independent.
"Fear now is that the possible freight is going to escalate. You're looking at some members putting up to 30pc of a fee increase because we have extra distances to travel, we have extra ferry costs. We have a problem with drivers."
"All goods going from Ireland to the UK and all goods coming from the UK to Ireland will certainly have to rise in cost because of the additional costs facing our members," he said.
