"Thanks to proper civilian behaviour and high-quality defence, the damage is relatively small," IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said, commending the effectiveness of Israel's defensive measures.
"We will respond, we know how to locate important targets, we know how to strike accurately and powerfully," Halevi asserted, indicating a resolute stance in Israel's military response to the Iranian attack.
Despite intercepting most missiles, some rockets did strike military bases, including the Nevatim air base, leading to assessments of the damage's impact on military operations.
Iran claimed most of its missiles hit their targets, including military bases in Tel Aviv, but Israeli officials emphasized that any damage was deemed 'ineffective' for military capabilities.
