Since February 11, households in Crystal Palace, Sydenham, and nearby areas have faced significant water outages following a burst pipe in Dulwich. The situation has impacted several schools and care homes. Thames Water has yet to provide a timeline for restoration, although they are working continuously to fix the problem. Residents expressed frustration over the outage, with many relying on bottled water distributed at emergency stations. Reports indicate ongoing issues with water pressure in the area, exacerbating concerns among locals.
It's the first time I have been today but I'm coming back as I'm assisting other people. I had to help somebody carry a few bottles earlier.
The water has been going on and off for three days. There is water but it stops regularly and the pressure is not high.
