The organizers of the Unity Festival in Harrow Lodge Park are seeking to expand event opportunities by asking Havering Council to lift the restriction of two events per year. Fatima and Haseeb Saleh have reported positive community feedback from the Unity Festival and are collaborating with the council to plan more family-friendly events. Their focus is on inclusivity and community engagement, which they believe can enhance local relations. Representations regarding their license application are due by February 25.
Following the initial success of the Unity Festival and the overwhelming support we received from the local community, we are now working closely with Havering Council.
Our goal is to create balanced, family-friendly events that bring local residents together and foster a sense of community.
