Fine Gael's Hildegarde Naughton under pressure to address actions she took in wake of Patsy O'Brien scandal

"All parties should uphold standards to their public behaviour and everything else and I'm sure she will be in a position to respond back," Mr Chambers said.

"Fine Gael should explain and should set out the context, and Hildegarde Naughton should answer questions, as would I or anyone else in Fianna Fáil," Chambers emphasized.

"Following consultation with a former female Oireachtas staff member who made a complaint against Councillor Patsy O'Brien, Fine Gael can, in agreement with this individual, confirm that Fine Gael received a complaint concerning Councillor O'Brien repeatedly sending her unsolicited pornographic material."
