"Garda units began a traffic management plan to enable emergency services to deal with the blaze with significant traffic delays in the city centre as a result. Motorists and pedestrians have been urged to avoid the city centre while the fire is being dealt with. There are not reported to be any injuries involved in the incident. A number of retail premises adjacent to the blaze including a popular restaurant had to be evacuated as a precautionary measure while the fire was being dealt with nearby."
