The Beginner's Parkour Class offered by SF Parkour is free, lasts 1.5 hours, and welcomes individuals of all ages and experience levels. Emphasis is placed on controlled progression covering fundamental parkour principles and techniques.
Participants will learn about the philosophy of parkour, as well as important components such as training, conditioning, safety tips, and the execution of basic movements like vaults, landings, and rolls.
The class aims to provide a supportive environment where beginners can feel comfortable learning and improving, with all ages welcome, and meets on the second Saturday of each month in rotating locations.
Attendees are encouraged to bring water and wear comfortable clothing. They can also engage in further training or socialize during open jam sessions after the main class.
