Golf club stables could be demolished and rebuilt
Briefly

A redevelopment proposal for Maylands Golf Club includes the demolition and construction of new stable blocks, 16 storage containers, a 30x16m menage, and parking for 11 cars. The plan aims to preserve most of the existing site layout while enhancing facilities. Miss E Frasle, owner of the land, submitted the application, which was acknowledged by Havering Council in February. Plans also emphasize security features, including a 2.6m high hedge along the southern boundary. A decision on the proposal is anticipated by April 4.
The new stable block will use a red brick plinth, black timber cladding, and a black roof sheet, designed to match the existing structures.
Plans include demolishing and rebuilding old stables, adding a menage, storage containers, and new parking spaces, intending to maintain the existing site layout.
