Google's new automatic framing feature for Meet ensures users are centered during video calls, enhancing the virtual meeting experience by minimizing distractions caused by off-center framing.
The automatic framing works by adjusting your preview image as you join a call, ensuring you're placed in the center regardless of how you start the call.
For those not using a virtual background, the feature won't continually adjust your framing to avoid distractions, but manual adjustment is available through the settings.
Originally exclusive to Google Workspace accounts, the automatic framing feature is now rolling out to all Google Meet users with an estimated completion date by December 17.
