Gordon Ramsay Restaurants is set to acquire the iconic Le Gavroche site in Mayfair, with officials submitting a premises licence transfer application. Initially opened by the Roux brothers in 1967, the acclaimed restaurant has a rich history, including being the first in the UK to earn three Michelin stars, though this was lost in 1993. After 56 years, it ceased operations in January 2024. Former chef patron Matt Abé is rumored to lead the new venture, though Ramsay will not be retaining the Le Gavroche name.
