From Aug. 11 through Aug. 17, several incidents of theft were reported in Huntington. Daniel Sherlock, a 29-year-old from Huntington, was arrested for stealing sunglasses valued at over $4,000. A third-degree grand larceny incident was reported on Aug. 15 after a stolen check was modified. Another case of grand larceny occurred on Aug. 13 when money was taken from a man's bedroom in Huntington Station. All charges are accusations and do not indicate guilt.
Daniel Sherlock, 29, of Huntington, was arrested for stealing four pairs of sunglasses worth $1,894 from Sunglass Hut and six pairs worth $2,400 from LensCrafters.
On Aug. 15, a check was stolen from the local post office, altered, and reported as grand larceny (third-degree) at Gerard Street in Huntington.
On Aug. 13, a report was made of grand larceny (third-degree) on 16th Street, where money was stolen from a man's bedroom.
