The Bay Area vastly outranked every other metro region in terms of jobs paying exceptionally high salaries, revealing its unique economic landscape.
ADP's research highlighted that about 1 in 48 jobs in the Bay Area paid over $500,000 annually, nearly double compared to the next highest region, Austin.
With 1 in 185 jobs earning over $1 million a year, the Bay Area's figures substantially exceeded other regions, such as Cape Coral, where it's 1 in 313.
The data showed that the Bay Area had about 1 in 667 jobs earning more than $2 million a year, far surpassing the national average.
