The newly refiled lawsuit against Jay-Z and Sean Combs alleges that the two were involved in the rape of a 13-year-old girl after the 2000 Video Music Awards.
Jane Doe recounted being lured into a party by someone who claimed to work for Combs, where she was allegedly drugged and subsequently raped by Jay-Z.
In response to the allegations, Jay-Z's company Roc Nation publicly expressed anger, stating the lawsuit was an attempt at blackmail rather than a legitimate claim.
Following the allegations, Jay-Z stated he received a demand letter attempting to coerce him into a settlement, which he firmly rejected.
