Rebecca Hall reflected on her time in Place Ladywell, stating, "I will miss this place. It's so lovely. I was in a hostel for four years with my kids before moving here. I was so happy to have a proper home after that experience."
While addressing the issues of antisocial behavior, Hall noted, "The bad thing is that a lot of my letters are stolen and at the moment there's a human poo in the stairwell. It’s unfortunate, but these issues aside, I loved my flat and its space."
Lucesse Samuel, a local business owner, emphasized the importance of the building for her business, saying, "This place has allowed me to create my dressmaking shop and develop my skills, despite the ongoing issues. Losing this space is going to affect my business significantly."
