A 53-year-old Livermore man was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting an underage boy after they met through an online chat application. Following the victim's report on December 31, San Jose police conducted an investigation which revealed that the suspect had arranged to meet the boy in an empty parking lot where the alleged assault occurred. The suspect was arrested on January 23 and booked into jail on charges related to the sexual assault, while a search warrant was executed at his residence.
