Millwall players visit young patients at Lewisham Hospital ahead of Christmas
Briefly

One patient's mum, Melania, said: "I'm not a big football supporter myself, but it means a lot to have the team visit, even just to make the kids feel happy for a moment. This is such a nice idea and creates a better hospital memory."
Another mum expressed her appreciation for the club's community spirit. She said: "It makes me happy to see a team doing something in the community and making such an effort. My daughter loves the gift she got from the team and I think it's very thoughtful of them to share even with those who support other teams."
Millwall's midfielder George Saville said: "We had the opportunity to visit the children's ward at Lewisham Hospital to spend time with the young patients and bring some cheer to their day. Our aim was to lift the spirits of both the children and their families during this challenging time. As we are in a fortunate position, we believe it's important to give back to the community."
