Russian air strikes and drone attacks struck multiple regions across Ukraine, killing and injuring civilians and damaging infrastructure. A large-scale drone attack in Odesa killed one man and wounded at least 23 people, including children and a pregnant woman, and damaged apartment buildings, a church, a kindergarten and an energy facility. Power outages knocked out electricity in Kharkiv and contributed to heating outages amid a severe winter freeze. Separate strikes killed a couple in Slovyansk and a 58-year-old in Zaporizhzhya. Negotiations involving Ukraine, Russia and the United States are set to resume in Abu Dhabi while Russia continues military advances in Donetsk and pressure in Kharkiv.
