Lidl in Dagenham is planning a major refurbishment, including updates to the signage, to enhance its presence following the departure of neighbouring Iceland.
The proposed changes include the removal of existing signage to replace it with three internally illuminated signs and four externally illuminated billboards.
The store has been closed since July 22, and Lidl has not yet announced a reopening date for its new, larger store in the area.
The new signage plan aims to modernize the store's appearance and attract more customers as it works towards a significant upgrade.
