"She loved the apartment but was like, 'I can't walk out into this every day, this is insane,'" Blumstein said. This captures the growing concern of clients over tourist crowds.
"For a long time, people were like, 'I'm up for living in Dumbo, which is the sleepy version of Soho,'" Blumstein noted. This illustrates the shifting perception of once-quiet neighborhoods now overwhelmed by influencers.
"But now you walk out and people are there with their little flags leading a tour group... it's just an intense environment," adding depth to the discomfort of living in such vibrant areas.
