Briefly

"This year's Oscar nominations were scheduled to be announced on 17 January before the wildfires delayed them by two days, now set for 23 January."
"We are all devastated by the impact of the fires and the profound losses experienced by so many in our community," stated the Academy's CEO Bill Kramer.
"Right now, we may mourn, but we also know it is important to carry on... our mission to support artists... is paramount," organizers of Sundance stated.
The Academy has also donated $750,000 to help those in the industry affected by the wildfires, as many community members face devastating losses.
