ParkMobile, a parking payment app, reached a $32.8 million settlement after a 2021 data breach that compromised the personal information of 21 million users.
In a class-action lawsuit, ParkMobile was accused of failing to protect its users from unauthorized access to personal information, exposing them to potential fraud and identity theft.
Settlement-class members can claim a portion of the $9 million allocated for cash payments, or $21 million in in-app credits if they choose not to claim cash.
To claim compensation, eligible users must complete a claim form by March 5, using the notice ID and confirmation code provided by ParkMobile.
