The Harold Hill estate of Farnham and Hilldene is poised for redevelopment, with a planning application to be submitted by the end of February. Cllr Graham Williamson announced plans to demolish existing homes, making way for 479 new residences along with retail facilities and community spaces. Following a pre-application phase, a community ballot indicated overwhelming support for the project. The first construction phase is slated to commence in spring 2026 and is anticipated to finish by February 2028, with the overall redevelopment projected to complete by December 2033.
Cllr Graham Williamson confirmed the planning application for the first phase of the Farnham and Hilldene redevelopment will be submitted before the end of February.
