Havering Council has submitted plans for the construction of four four-bedroom homes in Harold Hill on Bedale Road, earmarked under the Asset Disposal Programme.
Graham Williamson, the councillor in charge of development, emphasized that selling this land is crucial for generating capital for the council's capital strategy, while also maintaining control over new developments.
Residents will have a chance to comment on the application, and the plans include retaining part of the open space for community benefit, alongside creating family-sized homes.
The proposal is expected to bring positive changes, focusing on community needs and the continuing regeneration of the area through well-planned housing.
