"Powerful" star will be a "great signing" for Arsenal, says former Chelsea star
Briefly

Joe Cole backed Noni Madueke after the winger moved from Chelsea to Arsenal in the summer transfer window. Madueke left Chelsea in a somewhat surprising switch and faced questions about whether he could improve Mikel Arteta's side. Cole praised Madueke's power, ability to play on either flank, and potential to occupy the left-hand side of Arsenal's attack. The move provides Arsenal with a different attacking option amid inconsistent recent form from Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard. Madueke remains young and could develop further with regular playing time and proper guidance at Arsenal.
Former Chelsea star Joe Cole has backed Noni Madueke to prove a few people wrong after his transfer to Arsenal this summer. Madueke recently left the Blues to join the Gunners in a somewhat surprise move, with the England international not necessarily looking like being quite good enough to improve Mikel Arteta's side. Still, Cole is a big fan of Madueke and thinks he'll be given a key role on the left-hand side of the Arsenal attack.
I think Noni's a very, very good player, Cole told Hayters. I think Mikel Arteta would've watched he played games on the left at times for Chelsea and really done well. He's powerful, he can get on the outside. Martinelli missed games through injury, Trossard obviously, he scores goals but he never really felt that he was going to kick on.
