Ana Navarro, co-host of The View, strongly criticized the Trump administration for hiring Marko Elez, a 25-year-old staffer with blatant racist social media history. Despite his resignation due to backlash over statements like 'Normalize Indian hate,' President Trump and Vice President JD Vance supported his rehiring. Navarro contextualized Elez's case within a troubling pattern of removing DEI officials and addressing January 6 prosecution. She emphasized that Elez's comments were recent and indicative of his character, arguing that such behavior deserves immediate repercussions rather than employment in government.
We're not calling him racist. He's a self-proclaimed racist... This isn't digging up an old stupid tweet. This is a 25-year-old man who grew up on social media.
I could go on and on like this is really an embarrassing hire... These tweets were months ago. So if he's such a kid, what does that make the rest of us?
A guy who bragged about being racist before it was cool... Racists are welcome in the Trump administration.
This just shows that the Trump administration has a specific agenda, where individuals who normalize racism find a place among its ranks.
