Revealed: How much most of Sky Ireland's 600,000 TV and broadband customers face in price hikes from April

As of April 1, 2025, Sky Ireland will implement a price hike of 4.5% on average for TV and broadband customers. The increase affects around 600,000 subscribers, with annual bills rising by up to €96. Exceptions apply for customers under promotional introductory terms. Competing providers Eir, Vodafone, and Three Ireland are also expected to raise their charges. Sky cites investment in services and rising costs as reasons for the increase, assuring customers they absorbed some costs to minimize the hike's impact.

Sky Ireland stated, "This price increase will impact our TV and broadband customers, with the average bill to rise by 4.5pc, reflecting the investment in improvements and rising costs."
