Review: Hugh Grant uses his charm for evil in thrilling 'Heretic'
Briefly

Mr. Reed invites them inside; the smell of blueberry pie - ostensibly being baked by his wife - beckons them in. Mr. Reed is such a smooth talker that it's a while before they discover there is no wife and the house is sealed. For a good part of the movie, he just wants to talk. Philosophize, really. In that erudite Hugh Grant way.
What Mr. Reed wants is to test the girls' faith. Will God rescue them from a terrible fate? Reed pontificates on religion, pointing out the similarities between Christian dogma, Judaism, Islam and other fates. "Heretic" might be the most instructive horror movie ever made, and it might have you scrambling to Wikipedia after your screening.
