A large explosion occurred in a cornfield near Osiny village in Wola Mysłowska commune in eastern Poland in the early hours of Wednesday. An unidentified object, believed to be a Russian drone, exploded and left a large crater, blowing out windows in nearby houses. Police and firefighters responded and are investigating; the site lies about 78 miles from the Belarus border town of Brest. Staff Sergeant Marcin Jóźwik reported finding burnt metal and plastic fragments scattered across several dozen metres, including an object resembling a propeller used on Shahed drones. Preliminary radar analyses showed no recorded violation of Polish airspace from Ukraine or Belarus, and military police and other services are working at the scene. Polish Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz said acts of sabotage will not be ruled out.
