San Diego FC has signed Denmark winger Anders Dreyer as their second-ever Designated Player, marking an important step in building their inaugural MLS roster. The three-year contract, extending through 2025, comes after a transfer from Anderlecht. Sporting director Tyler Heaps emphasized Dreyer's proven ability to score goals and his high-quality experience in European football. Alongside this signing, the club also announced the loan acquisition of US national team midfielder Luca de la Torre from Celta Vigo, building on last year's signing of Hirving Lozano as their first DP.
Anders is an exciting addition to our front line who has proven he can contribute goals everywhere he's been in his career.
He has shown his quality at the highest levels of European football, and we're confident that his talent and work ethic will be instrumental to our success on the field.
