Sheds on land owned by Olympic medallist Annalise Murphy's parents appeared to be for domestic purposes, planner tells court

Con Murphy and Cathy MacAleavey, parents of Olympic medalist Annalise Murphy, are appealing their conviction for not removing two large sheds built without planning permission on Lough Ree.

The couple faced prosecution from Roscommon County Council after allegedly ignoring enforcement notices requiring them to demolish unauthorised structures on their property.
