Son donates kidney to save his father's life for the second time
Briefly

23-year-old Joshua Andrew returned to Southgate to donate a kidney to his father, David, who suffers from chronic kidney disease due to past chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. This operation at Royal Free Hospital marked the second time Joshua has saved David's life, having previously donated bone marrow. Despite David's prior serious bike accident and rehabilitation, Joshua emphasized the team's support and the vital role of their mother, Lois, in managing appointments and ensuring they were prepared for the donation. Joshua's act of kindness provides David a renewed chance at life.
David added: "The team here have been great. I was nervous about it for Joshua, but they really put us at ease."
