Alexander Gvatua, a policy analyst for Supervisor Otto Lee and adjunct professor at San Jose State University, was appointed to the Foothill-De Anza Community College District Board of Trustees, filling a vacancy left by Patrick Ahrens.
Following his appointment, Gvatua was sworn in by Chancellor Lee Lambert, marking a new chapter in his public service journey and commitment to education in the Sunnyvale community.
