Spanish unicorn TravelPerk bags $200M; acquires Yokoy
Briefly

TravelPerk, based in Barcelona, recently secured $200 million in an oversubscribed Series E funding round, elevating its valuation to $2.7 billion. Led by Atomico and EQT Growth, with support from Noteus Partners and existing investors, this funding will aid in its expansion into the US market and bolster its technological capabilities. The company has also acquired Zurich-based Yokoy, a leader in AI-based processing for expenses, invoices, and payments, to enhance its service offerings. The integration aims to provide best-in-class solutions without compromising on user experience or options.
Now, they can have the best travel management product built on the world's largest inventory and the expense management product that works best for their business, combined for the best integrated experience there is.
We have no plans to slow down, so will use the funding to further accelerate our growth-with continued investment in the US market alongside making significant investments into product, technology and AI.
