An application has been submitted to Camden Council to amend the initial planning approval for the O2 Centre redevelopment. The project aims to build 1,800 homes on the Finchley Road site. Developer Landsec seeks to remove a ten-storey block while increasing the heights of other buildings, providing a net increase of 43 homes in the first phase. Although the total number of homes will remain unchanged, the amendment will also include new green spaces and a community pavilion. The council is yet to set a date for its decision on the proposed changes.
Camden Council is set to decide on proposed changes for the O2 Centre redevelopment, including taller buildings and more green space.
Developer Landsec aims to increase the housing unit count but initially cited fire safety regulations as the reason for the plan amendments.
