Wright's aim was to create a new and more honest portrayal of the Traveller community, presenting them in a softer, more relatable light instead of the usual caricatures.
Faced with preconceived notions of hostility, Wright found the Travellers to be warm and kind, welcoming him with open arms during his project.
His photography focuses on the juxtaposition of traditional Traveller life and contemporary fashion, illustrating how culture and identity adapt over time.
By using vintage cameras and shooting predominantly at sunset, Wright captures rich, warm portraits that highlight the beauty and humanity of the Traveller community.
