Two fire victims, four-year-old Tadgh Farrell and Mary Holt, were injured in a home attack in Castleview Park, Edenderry, County Offaly. Gardaí said the victims should be looking forward to and preparing to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones and issued a fresh appeal for information. The four-year-old was visiting his grandmother and grand-aunt, Ms Holt, when the house was attacked shortly before 7.45pm on December 6. The attack prompted an immediate investigation and a request for witnesses, CCTV footage, or any information that could identify those responsible and assist ongoing inquiries.
