UFC's Dana White criticized Bryce Mitchell's anti-Semitic and homophobic comments made on his podcast, which included praise for Hitler and Holocaust denial. Despite condemning the statements as some of the worst ignorance he has encountered, White stated that the UFC would not impose disciplinary measures against Mitchell, citing freedom of expression. White emphasized the gravity of Hitler's actions and the absurdity of denying historical facts, while lamenting the influence of social media that allows dissemination of such harmful views.
First of all, when you talk about Hitler, he was responsible for the death of 6 million Jews and it was his intent to completely eliminate the Jewish people. White said the UFC let Mitchell know what he said was unacceptable.
That's the problem with the internet and social media. You provide a platform to a lot of dumb and ignorant people.
I really do think before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy I'd go fishing with. He fought for his country.
It's free expression, and I believe in it, but there's a limit to everything.
