This continuous rise in life expectancy is attributed to healthier lifestyles among men and medical advancements. Projections for 2047 suggest 25% of baby girls and nearly 20% of baby boys will reach 100. The life expectancy gap between genders is narrowing due to factors like reduced smoking rates and better work conditions for men.
