Where the U.S.-NATO relationship stands, according to a former ambassador to Russia

The Munich Security Conference highlights the precariousness of the U.S.-NATO relationship, particularly relating to Ukraine's territorial integrity and NATO membership. Conversations around possibly ending the war in Ukraine without full Ukrainian agreement have sparked concerns. Statements from U.S. officials, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, that imply Ukraine may not regain all territory have created unease among Ukrainian and European allies. Despite this, some discussions, like those led by General Kellogg, aim to reassure and clarify U.S. policies toward supporting Ukraine amidst these challenges.

I just came from a big Ukraine lunch sponsored by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation that featured General Kellogg, who gave a very strong description of the policy.

That disturbed many people - Ukrainian and European, and for that matter, American. But that was kind of walked back by an interesting party.
