Tom Willis will leave Saracens at the end of the season to return to France, which will make him ineligible for England selection under the Rugby Football Union policy. Willis earned eight England caps and impressed during the summer tour of Argentina and the United States. He has made 43 appearances for Saracens and is reported to be set to rejoin Bordeaux-Begles, the club he left in January 2023. Willis described the move as one of the hardest decisions of his life but said it feels right. Saracens director Mark McCall said he was disappointed but respected the decision.
