Roku is testing a new look
Briefly

Roku is rolling out a new homepage design to a select group of users, featuring a Quick Access section that highlights frequently used apps. This change aims to streamline the navigation process, allowing users to quickly jump into their favorite content and discover new options. Users will notice a shift in UI as the left sidebar is less prominent. The changes are part of Roku’s focus on better usability, and they seek feedback from users on desired customization features.
"One of the things we know that's going to be really important is that it just needs to work right out of the box," Smalley said. "We're definitely trying to see how much control people want, but that's something we want to hear from customers on."
"We had actually some pretty compelling and delightful destinations, but it was only a minority of people that were finding them," Smalley said. "What we think will happen with this change, and with what we're testing."
