Spotify mobile apps add a feature to create, save, and share clips from podcast episodes. A new clip icon appears on the podcast playback screen and opens a dedicated interface. In that interface, users can trim a specific portion of an episode and save the resulting clip to their library. Saved clips can be shared from within Spotify using the built-in messaging feature with other Spotify users, or shared externally through other platforms. The Clips feature is rolling out globally to free and premium users on mobile for select podcasts, with plans to expand availability to more shows over time.
